Recently, i was watching the book review
program on CNN and found Joseph Marshall 3rd being interviewed
about his new book on the great CRAZY HORSE....
Marshall, lives in Sante Fe, and is a Rosebud
Sioux NDN, who has written several important books about NDN
history.. during the discussion and question section of the
presentation of his new book on Crazy Horse, he was asked by
someone in the audience..
" did Crazy Horse ever write his
signature anywhere?"
" possibly yes, there is a canyon where a
HORSE and SNAKE above the horse were drawn and that may be his
signature.. as the SNAKE is the enemy of the Lakota"......
Joseph answered.....
Joseph also addressed the issue of NO photos
that exist of Crazy Horse except a few of his wife's husband who
was also named Crazy Horse after his assassination..
As example, i had known from my Navajo friends
and ceremonial leaders that if someone of their tribe sees a
snake they are to immediately have a three day ceremony to
'cleanse' their body and psyche.. is this the reason for many
'cleansings' after abductions and encounters with our snakepeople
on this planet.. there may be many such reasons.. for cleansing
ceremonies..
